1.Open the worksheet in Spreadsheets (WPS Office) which contains the string data.
2.Click on the cell in which you want to convert the string to value and type the mathematical function as shown in the picture.
3.Press Enter and your string data will convert into value.
Note: Please make sure that the format of the resulting cell is set to General.

1.Open the worksheet in Spreadsheets (WPS Office) which contains the string data.
2.Click on the cell in which you want to convert the string to value and type the VALUE function with RIGHT/MID/LEFT function as applicable.
3.Select the cell containing string data and the position value from right/mid/left.
4.Press Enter and your string data will convert into value.
5.Similarly, drag the corner of the cell in which string has been converted to value and all the string data in those cells will retrieve values.
Note: You can use the MID/LEFT function, in the same way, to convert string to value.
