1.Dates will be created from the integers in cells A2 to A10 below and placed in cells B2 to B10.
2.Enter the following formula in cell B2 to change them to date format.=TEXT(A3,”dd-mm-yyyy”)
3.Enter the formula by typing and dragging.
Using the Text to Column option, convert dates to text in excel:
1.To convert dates to text format if we don't like mathematics, we can utilise Excel's TEXT TO COLUMN OPTION. Assume that cells A2 to A8 contain data.
2.It must immediately be converted to text format.Before we can alter a column, we must first select the entire column.
3.Then, in Excel, select Data > Convert Text to Columns Wizard.
4.Before continuing to step 3, the delimiter must be chosen.In the freshly opened pop-up window, uncheck each box, then click Next to continue.
5.The following dialogue box requires that the TEXT option be chosen. Click Finish after entering =$B$2 in the target cell's value.
6.As a consequence, it will immediately change to text format.
