This is an important function to learn because sometimes your PC’s shut down directly and your whole work close suddenly without any being saved, so the best approach to avoid this problem is to use auto save but it does not solve an entire problem and still, after auto-saving, you will find some issues in your work also.

So there are some steps by which we can easily see recovered files in Excel.

1) The way to view the recovered file in excel is to first open Microsoft excel and click on the menu option which appears on the left top of the spreadsheet.

2) After pressing the menu option, a bar will open where you find many options here, Now click on the setting options and a new bar will open.

3) After opening this bar click on the auto backup where you will see your recovered files and save them for your later use.

How to view recovered files in Excel using local backup.

This is also a function where you see recovered files in excel and it is also a similar way as above but in it, this function will help you to work manually.

NOTE: There are also some steps to process for this function and they are below.

1) The way to view the recovered file in excel through local backup is to first open Microsoft excel and click on the menu option which appears on the left top of the spreadsheet.

2) The Second step is that after pressing the menu option a bar will open on the left-hand side where many options will appear, click on the Settings option.

3) After this, when you click on options a new bar will open where you find multiple types of backup options, click on the local backup so multiple spreadsheets will appear.

4) You find your recovered files and you can easily search there for your file which was not saved.

How to view recovered files in Excel using cloud backup.

This is also a function in excel where you see recovered files in excel through cloud backup, it means that your files will recover in the cloud and the internet is necessary to see recovered files through cloud backup.
