Problem Description: Ms Forms Upload Question
I'm new to MS forms and having issue with one of the forms shared with me. The Primary Owner has already moved to another team but has been me the admin access to the form. MS Forms Setting = Only people in "My Company" can respond enabled. I have already recreated the question but still keep getting the attached error. Can you please advise what is missing from my end? What else should I check? I am trying to submit a single JPG file which is less than 10MB in size. On another note, could you also please advise because as part of my troubleshooting, I created a new question just to check if that will fix my above issue. However, when I do Preview, the form does not show the new field I created. It appears to still show the old upload field. Can you advise on this too, please. Thank you so much in advance.

Quick Answer for Office Setup on New Device
The issue may be related to the specific form or its configuration.
Likely Causes Behind File Sharing Problems Root Factors
The Microsoft account or license context may not match the purchase or device.
Cached credentials, outdated builds, or damaged local components can trigger file sharing problems.
A file-specific corruption or add-in conflict can mimic a broader application failure.
Recommended Solution: Fixing File Sharing Problems Step by Step
When to use this: Apply these steps when the symptoms match and you can access the relevant Microsoft account or administrator.
Try creating a new form under your current account and add a file upload question to test if the issue persists.
If the new form works, the problem is with the original form's configuration.
Ensure the file is under 10MB and in a supported format.
Alternative Solutions for Secondary Document Fixes
Retry the Microsoft-side steps after restarting the app and device.
Test the same action in a private browser session or a new blank file to isolate account vs file issues.
Capture exact error text and screenshots before contacting Microsoft Support or your administrator.
Working with WPS Office: WPS as a Local Alternative

WPS Office cannot replace Microsoft account, activation, or cloud fixes for this scenario. It remains one of the best free Microsoft Office-compatible alternatives for opening and editing local files.
Download and install WPS Office from the official website.
Open local Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF files in the matching WPS app.
Save a working copy locally while Microsoft-side issues are resolved.
Return to Microsoft Office after the primary fix succeeds.
If you need a practical local workspace in the meantime, try WPS Office.
Prevention Tips for Keeping Office Stable Long Term
Keep one primary Microsoft account for subscriptions and Office sign-in.
Install updates for Office and Windows before retrying failed workflows.
Back up important files before repair, reset, or reinstall actions.
Work on copies and keep version history enabled when available.
