Hi, I think I've made more a mess of this trying to resolve it so please be kind (not usually so technically incompetent) and hope someone can advise a way to resolve this somehow... I set up an annual subscription for Microsoft Office with a gmail account I have in April last year. I then set up Outlook and had both the gmail account and a new @outlook email in the same inbox. All worked fine. At a later date, I decided I wanted a more professional email address (let's call it email address 3) for my work so I have since set up a new email address for my work which I added to my Outlook (a bought email address, not @outlook address) and receive emails fine in Outlook. All was working fine, pretty much. However, today I tried to set up a Teams meeting in the calendar of my email address 3 and it wouldn't give me the option, instead prompting me to 'sign in'. When I clicked on the sign in, it opened the Teams app on my computer but it was linked to my gmail address. I tried to log in to Teams using my email address 3 and that seemed to work but when I set up a Teams meeting in the app it didn't sync to my outlook calendar. So, having done a bit of research that I needed to add the email address to my subscription account, I tried to do this but it said that email address already existed for another account. I assume in logging into Teams I've somehow set up a new account.... and therefore I can't add that email address to my subscription account and I assume that the reason I can't sign in to Teams on my outlook for email addresss 3 is because there isn't a paid subscription linked to it. My question is this - is there any way I can resolve the mess above or am I best setting up a new subscription linked to email address 3 and then cancelling the one linked to my gmail so I can access everything on one email address? Also, if I close the original account, does that still mean I can't use the gmail or the outlook address with microsoft again? If any of the above doesn't make sense, please let me know.
