Quick steps for creating animated characters:

· Step 1: Apply animation effects

1. Select the object in the editing slide, which can be a shape, a text box and anything else.

2. Head to the Animation tab, and you can find animations in the ribbon.

3. You can click the drop-down button to view more animation effects and apply them with one click.

Here we choose Blinds for demonstration.

· Step 2: Customize animations

1. Click Custom Animation in the ribbon to pop-up a Custom Animation pane on the right.

2. In the Custom Animation area, you can click Add Effect to add animations to this object.

You can also select the object in the box below and click the Remove button to remove the unneeded animations.

3. In the Modify area, you can set more details for the animation. In this example, we can set the Starttime, Direction and Speed as needed.

4. If we have applied animations to multiple objects, we can click the arrow buttons in the Re-order area in the bottom of the pane to reorder the animations.

Tips: The numbers on the upper left of the object refer to their animation order.

5. Then you can click Play to preview the animation effects, or click Slide Show to view the final results. Here we click Play for demonstration.
