How to recover files in excel using Local Backup
This method works best with versions 2016/2016/mac/online.
In order torecover files in excel spreadsheets in WPS, you first need to an excel spreadsheet and click on the button on the top left corner.
Now select the Auto backup option.
Next, select the Local Backup option.
After you selectthe Local Backup option you can see a list of all the files that you thought you had lost.
How to do backup manually
You can take advantage of cloud backup and backup your files manually to prevent losing them. Following are the steps that could be used to backup your files manually using cloud backup.
We select cell range, and in the Text to Columns drop-down menu, click Smart Split Columns. We can preview it in real time with no loss of speed.
Now click on the Auto backup option.
Now click on the Cloud Backup option below the Local Backup option.
Now click on the Choose files option to choose the files you want to backup. You can even backup a complete folder by clicking Choose folder option.
Now select the file and click Open.
The file will be uploaded on the cloud.
