Malaysia, one of Asia's burgeoning regional and international study centres, is a destination of choice for more and more foreign students. In addition to the domestic universities, a growing number of international branch campuses, many of which are located at the brand-new EduCity complex, are joining Malaysia's universities ranking, which already have a prominent presence in both regional and worldwide rankings.

Universiti Malaya (UM)

Universiti Malaya (UM), a public research university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's federal capital and largest metropolis, is the highest-ranking institution in the country (which features in the QS Best Student Cities). The oldest university in Malaysia, Universiti Malaya, was founded in 1949 as a result of the amalgamation of many colleges from Singapore's neighbour. With more than 14,580 undergraduate students and more than 13,700 postgraduate students enrolled, it provides courses in a wide range of subject areas.

Universiti Malaya placed joint-87th in the 2019 QS World University Rankings and 24th in the most recent QS Asia University Rankings. Now, Universiti Malaya placed joint-65th in the 2022 QS World University Rankings and 6th in the most recent QS Asia University Rankings. International students frequently choose it, especially for postgraduate degrees; in 2017, more than 20% of postgraduate students came from countries other than Malaysia.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), often known as the National University of Malaysia, is ranked second among the best universities in Malaysia (NUM). Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, like the majority of the best institutions in Malaysia, is publicly sponsored. It enrols a sizable number of undergraduate and graduate students, offers a broad range of courses, and has a high emphasis on research. Its main campus is located in Bangi, a small town south of Kuala Lumpur in the Selangor region.

In the QS World University Rankings, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is placed joint-144th, and it is ranked 33rd in the QS Asia University Rankings. UKM, which was founded just in 1970, is listed among the top 50 universities in the world that are under 50 years old in the QS Top 50 Under 50 rating. It performs particularly well in terms of luring foreign faculty members, coming in at number 12 in Asia on this criterion, two spots ahead of Universiti Malaya.

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

USM, which is ranked 147th overall and 35th in Asia, is a Malaysian university. Universiti Sains Malaysia is another public research university that offers a wide range of academic programmes. Its main campus is located in Georgetown on the island of Penang, and it also has two other campuses that concentrate on engineering and healthcare on the western and eastern coasts of Peninsular Malaysia. As one of the top research institutions in the nation, Universiti Sains Malaysia has the highest score in Malaysia for research papers published per faculty member and the second-highest score for research citations per publication (behind Universiti Malaysia Sarawak).

Universiti Teknologi Petronas

Universiti Teknologi Petronas, which is ranked 72th in Asia and 414 in the global rankings, is one of Malaysia's newest universities, having been founded just 21 years ago, in 1997. The institution, which is a division of PETRONAS, the national oil and gas company of Malaysia, provides a wide range of industry-focused engineering, scientific, and technology programmes at all academic levels. According to the QS Stars rating system, it receives five stars overall, including five stars for its instruction, facilities, employability, and internationalisation.

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

It has two main campuses: one in the nation's capital Kuala Lumpur and one in Johor Bahru, a town in the southernmost point of the Malaysian mainland. It offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in a variety of subjects of study; the majority are in engineering and technology, but there are other faculties for the sciences, biosciences, and medical engineering, as well as management and human resources. In the most recent QS University Rankings: Asia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is ranked 38th, while in the QS World University Rankings, it is ranked 191th.

HELP University

The HELP University in Malaysia was established in 1986 to give many Malaysians who couldn't enrol in one of the few local institutions at the time or afford the high expense of studying overseas access to high-quality education. The University of Hull, University of London LSE, and Charles Sturt University are just a few of the well-known UK and Australian universities that have approved offshore delivery centres for their undergraduate and graduate programmes through HELP.

Online Storage and Access

Students, teachers, and administrators are unable to physically attend the school due to the pandemic. With the aid of WPS Office, all of the information used by both staff and students is transferred to and preserved on cloud storage platforms, where it is managed, maintained, and regularly backed up. Students and teachers can also readily access this material when necessary.

Promotes teamwork

Due to the shutdown of the schools, WPS Office combines coordination and communication tools, facilitating real-time collaboration and teamwork between students, instructors, and administrators. It facilitates effective task distribution and raises information quality. In this way, both teachers and students can keep in touch at school and have access to information both there and at home.

Saves time

WPS Office's robust tools make it easy to organise everything in one spot. They support teachers who are unable to collaborate face-to-face due to the pandemic by organising lessons, assigning homework, and even collaborating with other teachers and administrators via Plc groups. The teachers only need to enter the data into the system; they don't need to take much time to gather, arrange, and process a lot of data.
