Problem Description: Why Am Unable Open
I replaced my windows 10 desktop with new Dell Tower ECT1250 Desktop that came with Windows 11 Home installed, that was expiring in 5 days. I logged into my Microsoft account and downloaded and installed Microsoft 365 and Office, because I was not given the choice to download Microsoft 365 personal that I have installed on another desktop that works great. Your Microsoft 365 and Office apps are very buggy and time consuming to get functioning. Problems I’m having are as follows: 1. Outlook. I switched from new outlook to outlook classic, and all outlook folders and contacts (email address) are there, however when I restart outlook it reverts to new outlook and all my contacts are gone. I addition to the new outlook is unable to see my backed-up PST files. Now I must keep switching back to Classic to use my contacts and folders with import email messages. 2. Word. I’m unable to please page number on documents created because page number is grayed out. As a result, I must use my desktop with Microsoft 365 personal to get work done. 3. Excel. In the classic mode I see all my Excel files are shown for me to select and do work. Microsoft 365 and Office are all gone. 4. I have not tried the other apps (e.g. Power Point, etc.) because they are too time-consuming to use, I used them on Microsoft 365 personal. Questions: 1. Is there a way to prevent Microsoft 365 and Office from reverting back from classic. I understand that Microsoft plans to transition away from classic eventually and would hope the bugs are removed prior to transition 2. Can Microsoft allow me to download Microsoft 365 personal which works fine. Right now Microsoft 365 and Office is not workable for me, because all my prior information are gone and the apps are buggy Wayne Lindo [******@iag.net] (407) 719-4238
