- Product
- FormsCentral
- Device & OS
- not provided
- Scenario
- Attempting to purchase or subscribe to FormsCentral from an unsupported region.
- Observed behavior
- The user is unable to subscribe to the service because their geographical location is not included in the supported countries list.
Before proceeding, check the official service availability directory to verify if your current region has been recently added to the supported countries list.
Verify Supported Regions and Submit Expansion Feedback
Check the official list of supported countries for FormsCentral and submit a request to the developer to expand service to your region.
Software providers often roll out services in phases based on regional compliance, server availability, and business strategies. FormsCentral is not available for purchase globally, including regions like China and Hong Kong.
If you are located in an unsupported region, you will be blocked from subscribing directly. You can actively submit feedback to encourage broader international access.
Visit the official FormsCentral provider's website and navigate to the 'Pricing' or 'Subscription' page to view the updated list of supported countries.
Go to the 'Contact Us' or 'Feedback' section on the official website. Fill out the feedback form requesting service expansion to your specific country.
Create Forms and Documents Globally with WPS Office
Since FormsCentral is unavailable in many regions and has been discontinued, WPS Office provides an excellent, globally accessible alternative. It allows you to design fillable forms, manage data seamlessly, and export to standard formats without regional purchase restrictions.
- 1. Create a New Form Document: Open WPS Writer and create a new blank document to serve as your form template.
- 2. Insert Form Controls: Navigate to the 'Insert' tab and use the 'Forms' tools to add text fields, checkboxes, and drop-down menus for user input.
- 3. Save and Share Globally: Save your document as a universally compatible PDF or DOCX file, allowing anyone in any country to fill it out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why was FormsCentral blocked or unavailable in China?
FormsCentral availability was limited by the provider's regional business strategies, local compliance laws, and server deployment phases, which excluded countries like China and Hong Kong from the purchase list.
Can I use a VPN to purchase FormsCentral from an unsupported country?
Using a VPN may mask your IP address, but subscription services usually require a billing address and payment method from a supported country. Additionally, using a VPN to bypass regional restrictions often violates the provider's terms of service.
What are the best alternatives to FormsCentral now?
Because FormsCentral faced regional limitations and was ultimately discontinued, users are encouraged to use globally available alternatives like WPS Office to create document-based forms, or modern web-based form builders like Google Forms or Microsoft Forms.
