Solution 1Recommended

Locate the Manage Styles Button in the Styles Pane

Open the Styles pane to find the Manage Styles button located among the icons at the bottom.

In Word 365, the Manage Styles command does not have a large text button by default. Instead, it is represented by a small icon at the bottom of the Styles pane. If your pane is too narrow or docked in a small space, these icons might be hard to see.

1
Open the Styles Pane

Click the Home tab on the ribbon. In the lower-right corner of the Styles group, click the small dialog launcher arrow icon (or press Alt + Ctrl + Shift + S) to open the Styles pane.

2
Locate the Bottom Icons

Look at the very bottom of the Styles pane window. You will see a small cluster of three icons.

3
Click the Manage Styles Icon

Hover your mouse over the third icon from the left (the one on the far right of the group). A tooltip will appear saying 'Manage Styles'. Click this icon to open the Manage Styles dialog box.

Locate the Manage Styles Button in the Styles Pane
Hover for Tooltips: Because the icons lack text labels, hovering your cursor over them is the best way to verify you are clicking the correct button. The other two buttons adjacent to it are 'New Style' and 'Style Inspector'.
