Fix TokenNotFound Error When Installing Microsoft 365 on Mac

Open your web browser and navigate to Microsoft365.com/setup.

Log in with your existing Microsoft account credentials. If you do not have one, follow the prompts to create a new account.

Carefully type your 25-character product key into the designated fields. Do not type any hyphens, as the system will format it automatically.

Once the key is successfully redeemed, navigate to office.com/myaccount to download the Microsoft 365 installer designed for Mac.

Run the downloaded installer. After installation, launch any Office application and sign in with your Microsoft account to activate the suite.

Click on the Finder icon in your Dock, then select 'Applications' from the sidebar.

Find any existing Microsoft Office apps such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook.

Select these applications, drag them to the Trash, and then empty the Trash to completely remove them from your Mac.

Restart your Mac, then log back into office.com/myaccount to perform a clean installation.

Review your store receipt to ensure the product key was successfully activated during the checkout process.

If the key fails to redeem online, contact the retailer where you purchased the license and provide your receipt to request activation.

If the retailer confirms the key is active but you still receive the TokenNotFound error, contact official Microsoft Support for further license validation.
