not provided
Scenario
Deploying a default SharePoint hub site to the Quick Access list for newly onboarded users across the organization.
Observed behavior
The standalone OneDrive Admin Center redirects to SharePoint administration, and there is no built-in global setting to automatically pin the site for all users.

Solution 1Recommended

Instruct Users to Pin the SharePoint Site Manually

Because Microsoft 365 lacks a global administrative setting to push sites to Quick Access, users must manually follow or pin the SharePoint site to their own OneDrive.

Currently, there is no generally available tenant-wide setting in the SharePoint Admin Center to automatically add a site to the Quick Access list for every user. The most reliable method is providing brief instructions during user onboarding.

1
Navigate to the SharePoint Hub Site

Share the exact URL of the target SharePoint hub site with your users. Have them open the link in their preferred web browser and log in with their Microsoft 365 credentials.

2
Follow the Site

Instruct the user to click the 'Not following' star icon located at the top right of the SharePoint site header so that it changes to 'Following'.

3
Verify in OneDrive Quick Access

Have the user open OneDrive for Web. On the left navigation pane, the followed SharePoint site will now appear under the 'Quick Access' section.

Sync Delay: It may take a few minutes for a recently followed SharePoint site to propagate and appear in the user's OneDrive Quick Access menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the OneDrive Admin Center redirect to the SharePoint Admin Center?

Microsoft has consolidated its administrative tools. The standalone OneDrive Admin Center (admin.onedrive.com) now intentionally redirects to the SharePoint Admin Center to provide a unified management experience for all cloud storage and document libraries.

Can I use PowerShell to pin a SharePoint site to Quick Access for all users?

Currently, there is no globally supported, out-of-the-box PowerShell cmdlet that directly pins a SharePoint site to the OneDrive Quick Access menu for all users automatically. Custom Graph API scripts might be required to mimic user following behaviors.

Where did the Quick Access list go in the new OneDrive interface?

In the updated OneDrive for Web interface, the Quick Access section is located on the left-hand navigation pane, displaying frequently accessed, recently accessed, or explicitly followed SharePoint document libraries and Teams.
