Steps to Printing Comments

Method 1: Printing Comments Using Adobe Acrobat

There are two ways to print comments on Adobe Acrobat;

  • Printing comments in place

  • Printing comments summary

To print comments in place from a PDF, use the following steps;

1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader. For windows, choose Edit, then Preference. For Mac OS, click Acrobat, then preferences.

2. Select "Commenting."

3. Select “Print Notes and Pop-ups” and unmark “Hide Comment Pop-ups When Comments List is Open.”

4.  Click "OK."

5. Open the pop-up comments you want to print. Edit and adjust their placements so they don't spill off the page or overlap.

6. Click the "print" icon or choose "File" then Print to open the Print dialogue box.

7. In the Print dialogue box, select  "Documents and Markups" from the "Comments and Forms" drop-down list. In the preview pane, you can see your pop-up comments.

8.  Click "OK" or "Print."

To print a comment summary of a PDF document, follow these steps:

For Acrobat X or Reader X

1. Choose "File" then "Print."

2. Click the "Summarize Comments" button in the print dialogue box.

3. A prompt will appear asking, “Do you want to include the text of summarized comments…? Click" Accept."

Summarizing comments in long documents may take a while.

4. Click OK when the print dialogue box reappears to print the comments.

For Acrobat 9

Reader 9 does not support printing comment summaries.

1. Choose "File" then "Print."

2. Click the "Summarize Comment" button in the print dialogue box.

3. Select a Layout and other options as needed.

4. Click "Print Comment Summary."

5.  Click "OK" or "Print" in the Dialog box.

Method 2: Printing Comments Using WPS Office

With WPS Office, you can read, edit, and manage PDF pages easily on android. Follow these steps to print comments from PDF using WPS Office;

1. Open the PDF file in WPS Office.

2. Click the "Print" icon in the upper left corner or use the shortcut key "Ctrl+P".

3. In the Print interface, select "Documents and Notes" in Print content.

4. Finally, click Print.

How to Add Comments to PDF

Open the PDF file you want edit. Find the place you want add the comment and click "Insert". Select "Text Comment". Click the place you want to insert the comment. Type your comment in the pop-up box. Save your work.
